Last project of the year…

During the month of December a new industrial wastewater treatment plant was put into operation at DS Smith’s factory in Andorra (Teruel). With this project TEKNIC Ecotechnologies continues to expand its presence in the corrugated sector.

This project consisted of upgrading the existing physical-chemical treatment and installing a membrane biological treatment (MBR).

This approach eliminates the soluble organic matter remaining after the coagulation-flocculation processes. In addition, through the establishment of aeration-anoxia periods, it is possible to significantly reduce total nitrogen through complete nitrification-denitrification of nitrogen.
