FINAL STRETCH IN CARTONAJES EXTREMADURA

We add a new reference in the corrugated cardboard sector.

Cartonajes Extremadura’s new treatment plant is currently being assembled and will serve its new factory in Navalmoral.

This treatment plant consists of a primary treatment of coagulation, flocculation and continuous decantation that discharges the clarified wastewater to a biological treatment of activated sludge with membrane separation (MBR). This ensures optimum effluent quality, obtaining very high yields in the removal of heavy metals, organic matter, nitrogen and phosphorus.

MBR technology is characterised by providing conventional activated sludge treatment with greater pollutant removal capacity, as it is possible to operate the reactor at higher concentrations of microorganisms, or in other words, to reduce the necessary volume of our reactor.

TEKNIC thus presents this approach as the optimal solution for effluent treatment in the corrugated cardboard industry.
